Just three days before Black History Month rolled in, Bowie, Md.-based photographer Eunique Jones Gibson met with her business partner, Ashleigh Bing, about doing a photo project based on the celebration. No just three days before this month ends, I'm sharing the accomplishment

The 29-year-old photographer and owner of Eunique Jones Photography specializes in capturing non-traditional love and “life moments” such as engagements, weddings and newborns. Often, her subjects are newborn babies wrapped up in between the shelves of book cases or hidden in a pumpkin patch. But she was itching for a new passion project.

In 2011, Gibson teamed up with more than 100 people, ranging in age from six months old to grandmothers, for her “I Am Trayvon Martin” Project. The photos depicted Black and brown people—and a few sprinklings of Whites—of all ages donning grey hoodies with their name and occupation on their photo.

Even the most simple pieces create a major commotion. 

I totally adore Rihanna's celeb style. Not only are our styles somewhat similar in "standing out" and "throwing together" great combos... she's a fashionista on the up and up. Makes me wonder how life would have been for me if I would have gone off to college for Fashion Design instead of Web Development.... hmm. 

Not trying to hint at her current situation but, the title fit perfectly with my replicated celeb style. The recreated style definitely shares what I would pair and wear along with my personality and "suave diva" side. I love the color mint. It's been pretty popular for quite some time now. Many people who may know me personally know that mint polish is definitely my go-to color when all else fails. The nail polish wall display says it all. From the very first episode, I was obsessed!! The show pretty much thrives off the format of "bling taste tests". All contestants, past and present have very different levels of cooking skills and knowledge. Which makes it even more interesting. from the amateur underdogs to the highly conceited and self-proclaimed, kitchen pros. This show is a fire cracker!!

What is Sverve & Why Is It So Awesome?

As a pretty cool blogger I know the importance of networking and sharing information. I spend a majority of my day on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and ALWAYS on my email. I love meeting and connecting with new bloggers and getting helpful tips and various inspirational ideas! So you can only imagine how excited I was when I found out about Sverve. Hmm.. How exactly did I I find out? I pretty much went on a random search for more opportunities to connect with other bloggers in various niches.  Sverve is a Pinterest-like style networking site that not only gives you access to other bloggers but also is a gateway for PR reps and others that are looking to hire bloggers. They have a job board and everything.  I have already found some bloggers I never even knew existed.
